I gave NHL follicular. Sometimes I just get panicky. Anyone else?
I had them before and during treatment. You need to center yourself and relax. I practiced contemplative prayer, silence and yoga for the back pain. It really helps a lot to have a spiritual practice to help you to calm and find peace of mind. I suggest that you find one spiritual practice that matches your spirituality and allows you to be calm. FYI there are people that don't understand us when we have this kind of panic episodes or blues, don't worry about them, just focus on your peace of mind.
Absolutely, I used to have them often & very severely. I sometimes get close to having them but for me, this has been occurring for many years! They won’t kill you so that’s a very good thing !!!!!
Yes, and it is totally understandable. Along with prayer, a counselor suggested I focus on what is happening in the moment--what do a see, hear, feel, smell and taste right now. Most of my panic is based in what might happen in the future, so this is helpful.
If they happen often I would see a counselor.Panic attacks and depression are the psychiatric equivalent to colds and flu.Very common.Good luck
