I think there's more awareness of it. When my father had it 32 years ago he only lasted 4 months. He had no clue he had it until he was sick. Early lymphoma can be found on routine screenings. Mine was on a mammogram. My brother in law found his on his routine colonoscopy at age 50. Those who don't routinely screen may not know they have it when in fact they have an indolent form like follicular lymphoma. There is a benefit to seeing doctor regularly for checkups and keeping up with routine screening tests.

That’s the same form my husband has. It was an incidental find because of back pain. Yes, screenings are very important.
