Hi Folks, Made It Thru 1st Chemo! Fatigue Will Increase With More Trts, What About Nausea?? More As Go Along, Same, Lessen? Thx In Adv...
I have diffuse large b cell NH lymphoma.
LauraSmithOlinde,
Hi! I too have/had DLBCL stage IV and had treatments of RCHOP chemo. I've been in remission for 3 1/2years. Congratulations on finishing your first treatment!! You have one under your belt. I made sure I took my nausea meds on time. And, I didn't skip either. I even set my alarm in the middle of the night so not to be late on one. I made sure per my Dr I ate, especially protein for my blood. Even when my stomach was upset, I ate a bagel with peanut butter. I also made sure I drank lots of water so not to get dehydrated. Even during my treatments to flush things through. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I hope you have a peaceful evening. Kelly
Thanks, Becky. I will make an effort to get outside tomorrow. And stay on top of meds.
Congratulations on finishing your first treatment. Well, not everybody is the same, what I will tell you is the fatigue may increase and it might come and go. They’ll be good days and bad days and as far as the nausea goes, I was suggest strongly to take that medicine regardless whether or nauseous or not you always want to be ahead of it because if you fall behind, it can be a challenge to get ahead of. Just remember to stay hydrated don’t be sedentary get up and move around as much as you can and make sure to get fresh air get outside. Get some sunlight if you can you’ll be in my prayers.
