Anxiety Issues

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Carshalton, UK

I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin lymphoma in February of this year and have completed 5 of 6 sessions of chemotherapy infusion. Over the last couple of months I have started to experience anxiety and the last week or so this has become very severe, affecting me daily and making feel scared to be alone. I just wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience and how you have coped with it please.

Did You Ever Feel Like Your Symptoms Were Too General To Be Anything Serious?

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Waycross, GA

I think maybe I am just sick but not cancer sick…like maybe I’m putting things together that don’t go together. Or maybe I am just scared!!!

A MyLymphomaTeam Member

Yes 100%. It is so easy to dismiss feeling tired, off, losing hair and etc. GERD, Upset stomach, N/V can sound so garden variety and minor. They can be minor and intermittent or severe and… read more

Sebaceous Carcinoma.

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Los Angeles, CA, CA

I have completed Rchop for DLBCL almost a year ago. I was recently diagnosed with extra ocular sebaceous carcinoma. I'd like to know if anyone has experienced cutaneous cancer, especially following treatment for DLBCL

A MyLymphomaTeam Member

It’s an aggressive, cutaneous carcinoma that has a high incidence of metastatic spread to organs other than the skin. Non Hodgkin's lymphoma patients are at increased risk.

I have a few questions. (Stage 4b Hodgkins Lymphoma Nodular Sclerosis)
Many of you may have read my other post about my fiance running out of treatment options, they are talking of putting him on (lenalidomide and everolimus) and possibly a consultation for an Allogenic transplant. Hes had cancer for 6 years he went into remission once and relapsed in 2020, his numbers have remained stable since then and by that I mean almost the exact same only going up a handful of times if he missed a… read more

Is There Any Correlation Between Sinus Infections And Having NHFL?

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Palm Harbor, FL

I know that night sweats, fatigue, and itching can be related but Drs don't seem to know why and don't really offer any treatment or explanation other than if the "B" symptoms get bad enough or the disease seems to be progressing as evidenced by your routine CT and/or bloodwork - then it is typically time to bring on the Chemo or Immuno therapies. My Drs don't even document these things when I report them now. I am on my 2nd serious sinus infection this year. Anybody else?

Has Anyone Experienced Finger Numbing From Swollen Lymph Nodes Under Armpit

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Warrenville, IL

I have significant lymph node growth under left armpit. My left hand fingers started numbing. My Dr. Is not sure yet if related. I am getting a PET scan this month so my Dr can assess treatment. Not sure if PET is able to confirm that symptom.

A MyLymphomaTeam Member

Thank you for the replies. I will check out a neurologist too. I am not on treatment yet. Maybe the numbing is unrelated to the lymphoma.
