I have had no change for the 15 months since I was diagnosed. I think if I do all I can to be as well as possible it will help my body calm down about overproducing cancerous lymph cells. Discovered 2 other related things I have which are known to aggravate the SLL/CLL. Rhumatoid arthritis and candida. My naturopath said we should start with addressing the candida and making my digestive system as healthy as possible first so am doing that now. I really like the naturopathic oncologists approach better than the Western medicine docs who say there is NOTHING I can do to worsen or improve my chances.
I think with good self care I could go for years without it getting worse and am planning and working toward that. All the best. Lowering stress and practicing staying in the present and not imagining bad scenarios is my goal.

Hi Carol, I too am in the watch and wait phase of CLL/SLL. My Oncologist said I could start having B symptoms within weeks, or it could be months or even longer. Because it grows so slowly, we don't even know how long we may have already had it and didn't know. It looks like Brukinsa, which was recently approved to treat CLL/SLL is the new drug of choice because of fewer side effects and better results. That is what my Dr. said I would likely take once symptoms start showing up.

It took me a couple of years before I needed to be treated. So far good results. White blood cell down and no side affect. I’m taking Brukinsa

Folic acid has helped hugely with anemia. Cheap and it worked!
