Does Anyone Have Cancer In Their Bone Marrow?

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Marginal Zone lymphoma. I was told that I have cancer in my bone marrow- about 10-20%- My oncologist put me on the watch and wait as I have no symptoms. Does anyone else have cancer in their bone marrow, and did you receive any treatment (chemo?)

I’m so much better after Rituximab treatments and consider them life saving. I did not have a lot if side effects but even if I had I would have gladly suffered them in return for the almost immediate relief from fatigue, unsteadiness, and bone pain I was experiencing.

What kinds of side effect you have after treatment with rituximab? My oncologist claimed there should be no side effects from Rituximab….I am in remission since 2021 after 5 rounds of rituximab but developed auto immune, RA , neuropathy and extremely fatigue since the infusion.

Hi, I was also diagnosed with MZL stage 4. However, the Pathologists sees it as Walderström M and that code is used. That was almost a year ago. Also have 19% cancerous B cells in my bone marrow and blood. Also still on watch and wait. Am tired, face very puffy and I get sores. Sometimes some bone pain for a fleeting moment. Would like having you on my team.

I have B cell Lymphoma in my bone marrow had chemo and went into remission 3 times. I have had it 2014 it’s not cureable only treatable Right now I’m trying a trial pill called Jayprica so hoping it helps. I also got a second opinion. Unfortunately I found we have to be our own advocate.I didn’t have any symptoms either. I wish you the best.
