You need to first contact your oncologist to find out the cause. It could be as simple as lactose intolerance or due to chemotherapy side effects. He needs to be able to eat, so first seek help from the oncologist. My prayers for your husband's recovery. Keep us posted. Going through the treatments can be very tough, but don't get discouraged. My dear wife got me through 8 months of chemotherapy. Your steadfastness and advocacy will help him immensely...

I used a tea called Smooth Move. You can find it in most grocery stores and Wal-Mart in the tea bag section.

It could be the treatments and that his gutt biome is messed up for a bit. Also, I have lactose intolerance for years & I have learned to look back 2-4 days to see what I've been eating that might have caused bloating, more. Usually if I wait at least 3 days and sometimes 4 after w/o anything from 2-4 days previous, I find that things will go back to more normal and the bloating also goes down. If I mix too much fluid in one day and have something my stomach doesn't like, it gets angry. So, between certain foods (too much salt maybe or salty things?) w/trying to consume a lot of fluids can kick back sometimes.

Just my experience. I find if I have to much fluids too and I'm not doing a lot of anything, it ends up in my belly and I bloat out more. Hope he feels better soon. Make sure to let Dr. know and ask if he/she has any suggestions what to use or do if he/she can. Always good to have in record to follow.
