I stay inside most of the time and stay hydrated as much as possible. To tell you the truth going out in the heat exhausts me, more than just the lymphoma by itself.

I just had my recent cat scan and am now free and clear so I guess in remission. I don't go out in the hot weather and also with the smoke coming in from Canada.

I live in the Phoenix area where the temperature was 119° today!! No, that's not a typo, 119°!!! I stay inside in the air conditioning and stay hydrated. I keep reminding myself that it's only a couple of months and I don't have to shovel the snow in the winter. Stay cool everyone!

I walk the dogs and water my garden in the evening and try to walk them early in the morning.. but that is not always possible. As sometimes I have trouble sleeping (leg cramps or constantly going to the bathroom thanks to Lasix twice a day) so I’m slow getting started.. Always wear a big brim hat and loose clothes with long sleeves and pants to keep the sun off, and sunscreen on my ears, neck.. and exposed skin.I keep the house windows and shades closed during the day and open up in the evening when the breeze comes in off the ocean… (a nice perk) .
