I have SLL my oncologist never told me it was more aggressive it’s treated the same as CLL my oncologist told me I won’t die from it..I am taking Brukinsa for it and so far I am doing good hardly any side effects don’t be scared I had enlarged lymph nodes in my neck and under my arms..I couldn’t take Calquence because it caused a rash or Imbruvica because of high BP…

Hi I was watch and wait for 4-1/2 years. I’m on acalabrutinib. I call it the miracle drug. Only side affect is muscle pain in my legs. But my blood work is back to normal. Just make sure you have a good oncologist. I go to MSK.

I am also in you position with the diagnosis in June of 2023. Watch and wait, but the lymph nodes may be causing some crowding in my lower abdomen and in my neck. I have moved my appointment from December to October to discuss Targeted Therapy options. Do not be scared. I just encourage you to stay on top of it, learn as much as you can and take charge. That kind of attitude has really helped me stay encouraged to win.
