High CRP, High Absolute Neutrophil Count And Elevated WBC's.

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Orlando, FL

Can high CRP, high absolute neutrophil count and elevated WBC's cause a relapse of High Grade B cell Lymphoma? I am in remission (last chemo was over a year and a half ago). I have not achieved full recovery. I am always fatigued and SOB. Many thanks.

Hi DianneRose
Well that sounds like some good news. As far as the oxy....you're right they get pissie about any painkiller now a days. But I would bring it right back at them, I have freaking cancer, I want to be comfortable, I've had so much pain the past few years, enough to last a lifetime. I'll still get on their case. Enough said. Take care. Vonnie

You are a sweetheart, thank you for asking. Oncologist approved me getting medications from Rheumatologist, doesn't see an issue. Just got lab results from yesterday. Absolute Neutrophils trending down. On Prednisone - dose is 10mg down from 25mg which lowers them as well. Only issue? Still have throbbing pain/headache (7.5/10) and managing - have no choice, nothing works and it seems that you can no longer get pain medications (i.e. oxycodone) for pain. Oh well. Sorry for going on and on. Just confused over here. Not sure what to do anymore. Oh, BUN/Creatinine are trending worse as well (my lymphoma was on the urinary bladder and blocking me from voiding-hence now with Chronic Kidney Disease - I am stage 3). Again sorry for the rant. Have a wonderful weekend.
