It is one of the most prominent lymphomas. I am presently in Remission from it. I've had it twice first time a neck tumor and lymphnones on my liver they tried a Car-t transplant that failed after 60 days. The second time they did an annonimis Stem cell transplant. which so far is working. I also had radiation and chemo during the treatments.

Dee because my cancers took so long to get to Remission I ran out of benefits with about 4 months to go but I was able to apply for disability which at least kept money coming in but I was truly lucky that. My insurance company was so good too keep paying the whole time.

Hi John, I'm glad that your transplant was a success & that you are doing well. I hope I never have to have a transplant. I couldn't afford to not work for that long I would lose my home and everything. Having a transplant wouldn't do me any good if it means being homeless.

Hi Dee,
After the transplant I went daily to the day hospital where I had my own room and nurse plus daily updates and Dr visits. After about 3 weeks I hit what is called your low week and spent the next 10 days in the hospital got lots of transfusions and fluids and antibiotics. After that I was in and out for the next 4 months about every 2 weeks for maintenance. Working was not an option it's hard enough to live day to day. Your energy level is at its lowest its hard to even eat. But as the Dr's said you need to be patient and give it time and everything will return to normal. For me it happened around 6 months.

When you had your transplant did you have to stay in the hospital and be in isolation? Could you work?
