I’m going through R-Chop treatment had 3 of 6, was offered flu and Covid vaccinations as part of my job role, however ,my haematologist advised to wait until my treatment is finished, then we can discuss further .

I got a flu shot and covid shot at the same time today, but I ended chemo in May. I would ask your doctor. I got a slight reaction last year, but it doesn't last and the sore arm is well worth it.

I did last year, best to ask your oncologist, mine said ok. I just got flu and RSV and that RSV was rough , even my younger friend at 59 had sore armmand not feeling well next day

I completed chemo and finished radiotherapy 22 March 2024, had Covid and Flu boosters last week , so far no side effects 😁

KellyS my arm was so sore had a terrible time sleeping it was so sore, turning I almost needed other arm to gently move, was nauseous a little small headache and not hungry at all had a piece of toast then at nite made a can of chicken noodle soup , I more or less laid on the couch and read , the flu arm was a little tender , monday was better and by Tuesday I was back to my old self,, I blamed it on the RSV as the arm was unbelievable and I never have had a reaction except small uncomfortable, the RSV shot hurt going I. And he mentioned it would hurt the most going in. I will get my Covid when Phizer comes in hasn’t at my pharmacy . I can tolerate pain as have had hip replaced ,knee replaced and childbirth, so for me I don’t know if it was the left over methodextrate in my body , I did have 4 spinal infusion for prevention or what , but I would not plan a trip or something special the next day minde was noon sat and by 4 my arm was bad and sore moving . Good luck glad it’s over, I hear if you get sick that’s worse 👍😊
