My husband was diagnosed with DLBCL, Stage 1 E, in June 2020. He had done his last PET-CT in June 2021. We are regularly doing LDH test, Recent blood test shows LDH is elevated (374). Currently, there are no symptoms...Is there any need to do PET-CT?

Ruchi,
I too have/had DLBCL and had treatments of RCHOP chemo. I was diagnosed in October of 2020. I had a CT scan half way through my treatments. Then had PET scan 6 weeks following treatments. Then about a 1 1/2ago I had another PET scan. They saw a shadow on a reg xray. It turned out to be nothing. In regards to having another scan I guess it would depend on if your oncologist questions the LDH test results. My oncologist says if the LDH is a bit above normal and no symptoms she doesn't worry about it. I suppose too it would depend on if it continues to increase or not. Kelly
