When I was diagnosed, first question I asked myself and my oncologist was how / why do I get it? His response was have had known the reason we can eradicate it. I didn’t get my answer but still wonder what did I do that got me this? As Crystal mentioned, there could be many reasons, but doctors an science isn’t advanced enough yet to get the reasons, but they are making progress.
