My rounds of treatment spanned two years. I did reach the maximum out of pocket one year, but my total out of pocket was $6000. That was five years ago. Now they want me to undergo more treatments, but I have refused because even with my maximum out of pocked per year being $5500, that is too much.

It will depend on your insurance. Once you hit maximum out-of-pocket you don’t pay any more until the new year. My insurance has paid hundreds of thousands over the past year and a half including surgeries and everything cancer related!
