I had my first infusion December 2022 and was basically in an outpatient infusion center. That also gives chemotherapy. They gave me Tylenol and Benadryl right before I received the IV infusion just to be sure I didn't have any side effects. The infusion the first few times lasted about three hours cause it had to go in very slowly I no longer have a port so they did have to start a very tiny IV. Well, I should say they used a very tiny needle to start an IV, I had no problems and my numbers obviously went up the next month and I did not need another infusion for I believe another two months I get blood drawn every month to check my IgG level
