Would You Go Back?
I went to this cancer clinic 2xs. Time for a bone marrow biopsy bc my B symptomsare increasing. They are supposed to have the hospital and bone marrow Dr call to schedule my appt. They're also supposed to call me back with co pay info...its been 2 weeks! I called and left 2 messages and emailed 2xs. No response. What would you do? Hubby is as confused as me at this point bc if this place is this bad getting appts and zero follow thru...would you go back

I would make a call to the scheduling dept/person. If this doesn’t work, then ask for the human resource department and explain to them your difficulty and concerns and stress. It’s better to be ahead of the curve with cancer than behind the curve and they are your obstacle.
And then I would go back to the medical doctor, who referred you to this clinic and ask them to refer you to another. And honestly, it could be very well that they are bombarded with appointments right now and backed up and that’s OK just refer you to someone that can see you and take care of the issue. Please keep us informed and how it goes.
Cindiloo, I know that if that were my experience I would be so upset. I’d feel abandoned. I’ve noticed that the older I got, the less patience I had for big corporations and their lack of accountability. No doubt they will give you some lame excuse for not returning your calls.
I’m tired (so what’s new) and get a bit on the grumpy side when I am. I’m also old and have used up my patience 😁
Thanks. Well they called last night and set up my bmb. The follow up appt now needs to be changed bc they waited so long there's not enough time to get results. After this I'm not going back. If they are that busy, and with all the probs up here getting healthcare service I'm looking elsewhere. So bummed I just can't get a decent team together. No sooner do I think I have one, they leave. And it's sub after sub who are so burnt out they don't even know your name. I know others here have decided to drive or fly in to other cities and states for good cancer care. That's a big expense. So idk you guys
Thanks for your replies
