Hi SuzanneAllen, very interesting question. I can't speak to developing hypothyroidism after being dx with cancer, or for having treatment. But it's curious that I've been dx with low thyroid for decades prior to my WM diagnosis. I've learned that having the Epstein Barr virus could possibly be a precursor to getting cancer, jury's still out on that but it's being explored. Hence my wondering if a low thyroid problem could also be connected. However it sounds to me that since receiving cancer treatment you have developed hypothyroidism and never had it before? I will be praying for you! πŸ™β€οΈπŸ™
