Members rallied around someone facing a new marginal zone lymphoma bump on their leg, offering warm reassurance that having no symptoms was encouraging and reminding them to trust God and avoid worrying before meeting with the oncologist. Several members shared that they also shield their families from health fears to avoid unnecessary worry, while expressing gratitude for supportive spouses who attend appointments and help navigate the emotional journey. A recurring theme was the value of leaning on the community for support, staying spiritually grounded, and waiting patiently for test results without letting anxiety take over.

Hi Nene,
No symptoms is great. However, try not to put your worry hat on. (I know easier said than done) once you meet with the Dr, you'll have a better idea. Stay strong. Give this to God! Have a great day.

Nene, I don't know what an MZL bump is. I am actually I my church's new website. They had an acronym on their website which I did not know what it was. I mention that the first time you see an abreviation of words, please say what it is. It's not your fault, just we folks that don't understand everything. Hugs Nene!

I understand not expressing your fear to your family, I do the same thing. I do not want them to worry over something that maybe is minor. My husband loves to come with me to my oncologist, not only cause he wants to stay in the know, but he likes my oncologist, who is very upbeat and assuring. Sometimes I haven't mentioned something to my husband so he is surprised when I mention it to the Dr.
oops. He realizes though that I just didn't want to worry him.
