Hey Guys! Does Anyone Got Their Tonsils Removed Bc Of Lymphoma? I Already Got Chemo And The Latest Scan Showed That I'm Nearly In Remission*
*only radiotherapy left. But the scan also showed that my tonsils and my lymphnode on the other side (not where I actually had my hodgkins lymphoma) are kind of reactive (which can also be caused by different stuff like allergies, which i suffer from at the moment). They want to remove them and this lymphnode to make sure there is no more cancer. Does anyone made similar experiences? In Germany it is really rare and my doctors never had someone with something like this..
I finished chemo one month ago and this was my mid term scan before they start radiation. I never smoked or drunk, I am 19. So I guess it has nothing to do with hodgkins lymphoma and it's just a reaction of my allergies. But we will see.
All the radiation treatment and especially chemo has many life altering negative side affects. Tonsil cancer may only metasticise minimally and not grow or grow so extremely slow where watchful waiting and eating an unprocessed unfried vegetarian healthy diet from a never smoker, non alcholholic can be minimize the growth.
