Lymphoma Stage

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Los Angeles, CA

I noticed my oncologist has down graded my lymphoma to stage 1. But on PETscan it was clearly bigger and spread ,now in inguinal nodes bilaterally, extertilliac chain, axilla and abdominal. And have symptoms which will not say they are because of lymphoma

Does anyone know why he would do this?
I haven’t had treatment at all, he won’t give it yet. All he keeps saying is he has seen patients with more and nodes hanging off.

Honey Im not sure. But if your Oncologist is not being explicit answering you. I would seek a second opinion to validate for your peace of mind.

Thank you. I found that he had done that in portal, so when I see him again I will ask.
