Hi Linda343...All together I had 8 treatments of Rituxin, 4 weekly then 4 more every 2 mos. Side effects vary but for me it wasn’t easy but was tolerable. I was 79 at the time so I think age played a part in how my body reacted. First infusion was difficult because I had trouble breathing and it had to be stopped. Dr checked me and added another antihistamine which alleviated the problem. After that treatments were ok. I did end up with severe joint and muscle pain for a year. At first, dr did not attribute that to rituxin. After finishing treatment the pain went away and dr agreed that it was from rituxin. Not sure what side effects you’re experiencing but if you’re being advised to have treatments I would say to strongly consider it. Pls lmk if you have more ?s. Hope this helps.
