Do One Get More Bladder Infections With Lymphoma? Battling This Now.
Hi, Hulda. Lymphoma can have secondary involvement but UTIs would possibly mean involving the bladder. My lymphoma is in my spleen but my oncologist is waiting for an upper bowel MRI results of my gastroenterologist’s ordered MRI to see if that organ is affected. I would suggest conferring with your oncologist and medical team who can test you to see if there is bladder involvement and you might also see a urologist if you haven’t already for the recurring symptoms as he can advise as well.
Hi Hulda,
I'm sorry you've been going through that. I have not had that problem...yet...the nurses have asked me if I have had symptoms of a urinary tract infection ...by their questions, I believe it can happen as a result of our treatments. Hoping you get answers, and that you feel better soon.
I've had two but I don't know if it's related to the cancer.
Thank you for your lovely answer. Going to try the probiotics. Do eat yogurt.
UTIs - yes, several early on. I also got several sinus infections. Pick up bugs easily.
Lots of ABTs to resolve them because I don't seem to be able to fight things off like before. ABTs are very hard on your gut. Things have gotten better over time as I drank more water/fluids and improved my gut health with better diet / adding probiotics. Blood CAs (really most CA) and their treatments compromise your immune system.
