I was in remission after having a bone marrow transplant. Because rhe transplant wipes out all vaccines I had as a child, it was recommended few months later I receive those shots including Shingles. However, if you want to get a Shingles Shot while still receiving chemo &/or Radiation treatments, you need to ask your doctor. I personally think you would need to be in remission first and be done with treatments. Again, I implore you should ask your doctor. Hope this helps.
