If I Relapsed Will The Diagnosis Stay The Same As My First Time With Cancer
I have non Hodgkin's lymphoma double hit stage 4 in my groin area if I have relapsed will it stay at that diagnosis again? And I'm not losing weight ( I'm still fatπ€£π€£) I have broke out in a rash with nodules I'm exhausted everyday I feel like I'm getting a cold or something (ya know I feel blaaa) my blood work came back with the only problem was hi cholesterol I get hot once in awhile not bad so how in the world can u have cancer with that outcome?
Most of the times the Diagnosis is the same .Some people will recur with a more indolent tumor .But more so with follicular going to Dlcbl .
More importantly you can come back as Dlcbl but different genetics .There may be different mutations .Double hit is chalangi g .So chances are if it EVER comes back the histology should not be more aggressive .
Hopefully you will not ever deal with this .
Best
Frank
You really need to be asking this question with your oncologist. They are the experts. One thing i can say is I'm glad you are leaning on God for all outcomes good and bad. He is the strength I depend on daily. You seem to have the same outlook as me. If it's God's plan, then so be it. I don't stress about any of this. May God bless you with good health now and in the future.
Are you seeing a oncologist? Blood work should tell you what is happening. My oncologist blood tests do not tell me about my cholesterol....
Please keep checking with your cancer Dr.
Good morning Jeanette!
I so love β€οΈ your attitude! I believe our faith in the LORD is what carries us! I honestly believe that the LORD has brought me to this place of my life to share His amazing love with others. People are ready to listen when we have gone through the cancer journey also. Praise GOD that this is so! His love heals us here or in Heaven. Either way we win when we have the LORD in our hearts and lives! We do not deserve it but HE gave us His life anyway so that we can live with Him forever! Our Son, daughter inlaw and kids gave us a plaque last Christmas with this verse: Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you. I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
This verse, as many in God's Word have comforted us so much! My husband was diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes about the same time of my cancer diagnosis. Needless to say we felt deeply overwhelmed and saddened. How could this be? We thought we were pretty healthy! Through it all, the LORD has picked us up out of the Miry clay and given us hope and strength for the future!"Only through Him and His Holy Scriptures can this be so!"
I hope the words I have written have encouraged you in your faith walk and health journey as all who are going through their valleys and mountain tops of their health/life journey!
God bless you and all!
Gayla
