Those Who Have Taken The R-chop Treatment, What Were The Side Effects?
It’s true of cycles. 3rd week is best one. If you have nausea, please take medicine which makes you feel better and you’d feel like eating food. Take Fluids, eat protein better it any food for that matter is fine. Get out of bed, walking helped me, that’s therapy I had. Not every day rocks. Be kind to yourself. There are ups and downs. Sail through and assure you would come out.
PansySmith,
Hi! I have/had DLBCL stage IV and had treatments of RCHOP chemo. I had 6. I had fatigue, nausea and I didn't feel well about 24 hrs after my treatments. It started getting better as the days went on. The first week was the roughest, second week better, third week good. Then I'd have treatment again. I also had constipation which I took OTC Colace for. I lost my hair... but it will come back. Make sure you take your antinausea pills on time whether you feel you need them or not. I also drank a ton of water to flush everything through even during the treatments. I've been in remission for 3 1/2years. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. Kelly
I did not have strong side effects at all. Just tired.
Meant to say took no medication for nausea and experienced none.
A bit fatiqued, but for a 81 year old at the time fatigued is fairly common. Took no medication for fatigue and experienced none. No other side effects including very little hair loss. I had follicular lymphoma for two years which transformed into b cell. Been in remission for almost five years and am 86 now.
Most People Here Seem To Get R CHOP For Their First Treatment For DLBCL. But I Was Given Pola R CHP First. Anyone Else Get Pola R CHP First?
Anyone On Here Have Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma?
Hi, Great To Find This Group. I Have Endured My First R-CHOP Treatment With A Few Horrible Side Effects. Any Thoughts On Upcoming Treatment?
