Members shared mixed experiences regarding drenching sweats while in remission from follicular NHL, with some reporting no sweats for years while others continue to experience them regularly, often unsure if they are lymphoma-related or due to other factors like age or needing to use the bathroom. Several members distinguished between mild night sweats in remission and the severe, drenching sweats they experienced before treatment, emphasizing the importance of communicating symptom severity to oncologists and staying vigilant with scans and bloodwork. A recurring theme was the value of specialized lymphoma oncologists, regular monitoring through PET scans and labs, and the emotional reassurance found in prayer and community support while navigating the uncertainty of remission.

Good. Scans are important. Consider getting a second option. Also, try to get with an oncologist who ONLY does lymphoma.

Hi Donna, short answer is yes. The sweats come and go. Don’t really know if related to lymphoma. Sometimes the sweating starts and I realize I need to get out of bed and use the bathroom.

Saw oncologist, my labs were ok. Discussed night sweats, he suggested I have another Pet-scan. I’m reluctant bc of the radiation. Would like to have hormone levels checked first.

The total body night sweats have gotten better since I stopped drinking Mcd iced coffee everyday. ???

I have not had chemo. My Follicular Lymphoma is the wait and see when it rears its ugly head again type.
Had surgery September 2020 for small intestine blockage caused by follicular tumor.
