I’m newly diagnosed too on watch & wait since May. I’ve spoken to others who have gone 7, 10, 14, 16, 20 years and then some who started treatment right away. My question is whether or not diagnosis subsequent to covid or vaccine affects the progression pace. Gonna ask a specialist that question in a couple weeks.

Sending you wishes for positive news on your scan. Am sitting in hema waiting room rn to get FISH test and other test to gain more data and understanding of my SMZL characteristics that can affect future treatment and prognosis. (Thanks to Chat GPT 4.0 Plus.)

I was on watch and wait for almost 8 months till they finally figured out what I had. This was right after I had my 2 nd vaccine for Covid. Then I started on B & R right away for 6 months and rituximab for 2 years. I have one more to go in January and then a ct scan to see if I’m clear.

BettyChien,
Hi and welcome to the site. Everyone on here is so nice, helpful and supportive. I have/had DLBCL and had treatments of RCHOP chemo. I've been in remission for 3 1/2years. I hope you have a relaxing day. Kelly
