Hi All , I Have DLBCL Stage 2

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Feilding New zealand

I had chemo and radiation and it went away . However a couple of months ago I developed lump-so in my tight armpit I had a pet/ ct and it was likely cancer . So I had a whole lymph node removed for testing and it turned out to be a fatty lump . Another pet/ ct showed the remaking lumps in that area were getting bigger … so, a guided ct biopsy was done last week . I’m awaiting the results . Had anyone had anything like this?? I don’t have lymphoma anywhere else in my body according to my scans .

Jill lipoma or fatty benign tumors normally don’t grow rapidly and don’t light up with pet .It is possible the biopsy samples missed the lymhnode .You should make sure they get lymphoid specimen .,to exclude recurrence.Lymphnodes may occasionally be pet pos after treatment due to inflammation or reactive hyperplasia ( rebound) but should not grow significantly

Frank9,
Hi! I hope Donna's appointment and labs went well. Bert's doing much better. He had his bladder cancer relapse in April. Had chemo and he's now in remission. Then he had sepsis twice then recovered and had a prostate surgery. He's finally feeling back to himself. It's been a long 8 months for him. Thank you for asking. I hope you, Donna and your family have a blessed Thanksgiving holiday. Kelly
