Does Anyone Know How BTK Inhibitors Affect Prognosis For MZL Survival?

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Palm Springs, CA

I was diagnosed with splenic MZL & CLL in March. Started right away on a BTK inhibitor which has normalized nearly all my blood values but I'm wondering if doctors yet know if, or to what extent, taking these relatively new therapies extends chances of survival beyond 10-15 years. Has anyone heard anything anecdotally or aware of any studies?

(PS. I don't know why it says I'm from Southern Pines, NC. I have never even heard of that place. I live in Southern CA.)

MikeMcGinty,
Hi and welcome to the site. Everyone on here is so nice, helpful and supportive. I have/had DLBCL and had treatments of RCHOP chemo. I've been in remission for 3 1/2years. I hope you have a peaceful day. Kelly
