Does / Did Everyone Have Access To A Nurse Navigator?
Does / Did everyone have access to a nurse navigator? Maybe called something else at your treatment center. This would be a RN guide who can help you navigate the hospital, social services, and care options.
What was your experience with a nurse navigator?
Back in August 2023, my mo went to the ER for an allergy and ended up in the hospital was SVC syndrome & B cell Lymphoma. We didn't know anything about cancer, chemo side effects, or nurse navigators.
We are halfway through chemo (3rd round of R-chop), have had three hospital stays, and lots of anxiety never knowing who to call.
We just met our nurse navigator today and she was amazing. I will definitely be calling her moving forward. Navigating the hospital system is tough, so glad we have her on our side now
Yes, I have a navigator that has helped me a couple times.
That's Awesome
Very responsive through our patient portal.
Yes, but we call it something different. Anyway, she's been very helpful and I'm glad for the program βΊοΈ
