Hi! Apparently neutrophils being low can cause less immunity to infections. Doc thought it being so low meant they had read the test wrong or counted wrong. Ran it again, it was worse. He then made them count the neutrophils and lymphocytes manually. Still bad. Pet scan scheduled for Thursday. We shall see.

Thanks for that. Of course when I asked the internet web sites, it told me I could be prone to infections with lower than normal neutrophils, the first time it’s ever been that way. But, I have an oncology appt tomorrow. See what Doc says. I feel good, which is probably a good sign. Asking for good karma for tomorrow. Thanks again.

Hi annie020201 I have SLL and I have been on Brukinsa for about 10 months now and all of my blood work has been normal and I feel fine I really don’t seem to have any bad side effects from it and am thankful for that so I wouldn’t worry too much because there are so many tx out there and more to come from what I have been reading..
