Hi I've Got FL W/W Is It Still Advisable To Have A Breast Screen I'm 52 They Keep Sending Reminders
SuzieFloodyMcCready,
Hi! I would absolutely still keep up with your breast screening exams/mammogram. They are so important for women's health. I have/had DLBCL and I have mine yearly. I never skip! Early detection is key. I hope you have a wonderful day. Kelly
Good Morning
If in doubt, always ask your oncology team/doctor.
While doing treatment, I didn't do anything else.
I had a mammo just prior to beginning treatment and made sure that everything was up to date.
Once I finished treatment, I made a list of things I had put off and sent it to my oncology team and my primary and made the appropriate appointments.
Hope this helps.
