I Was Diagnosed With Stage 4 NHT-Cell Lymphoma 4 Years Ago. I Was 72. There Was A Lump In My Groin That Was Malignant.

The lump was removed and the biopsy showed markers for NHTCL. Then I had a bone biopsy. I had 6 rounds of chemo (a form of the CHOP) every 3 weeks. I was barely ill. Occasional nausea but I took some kind of injection that day after the chemo that kept that to a minimum. I lost my hair and my appetite changed from salads and vegetable to eggs and potato chips. With Lymphoma there are both stages and grades. It's very important to know the difference. I lived with Stage 4 but a low grade. Since the grade went up in 2021, I have been getting Rituxan treatments. But everyone is different.

He told me Stage 4 means it has spread but apparently not causing any symptoms.

Ask your dr to explain stage four. I had stage 3 DLBCL and he told me it was because I had cancer above and below the waist.
