I Have Itchy Bumps On Legs And Hands Is It Symptoms Of Relapse, No Other Symptoms Are There
Interesting that during chemo they didn’t bite you. They love me more now. I’m doing ok. After tomorrow I’ll only have one more treatment. It’s nice to know I’ll be done in less than a month with chemo!
It’s good to bring up to your dr. I did want to comment on the bug bite thing though. I’ve been getting horrible reactions to mosquitoes since I started chemo. I walk my dog everyday in a park and not only do they seem more attracted to me and will. It’s me through my head covering and clothing but I get huge itchy welts. I googled it and it’s a thing with patients on chemo. I have to use a lot of the really potent bug spray and then a benedryl cream for the welts. Can’t wait for winter.
Yuck I have CLL/SLL and don’t want itching!!!
I have CLL and get itchy spots but I think they are bug bites. My dermatologist told me he thinks something to do with bad lymphocytes reacting poorly to the bug bites. It starts out as a little tiny itch then gets worse for two or three days before it goes away.
Hi Christina
Sorry to hear about your mosquito bites. I have been in remission for 2years next month. I had chemo and immuntherapy. I have had extremely itchy mosquito bites, sometimes a raised bump where they bit, red swelling. Not fun! I do not remember having such a bad reaction as the last couple years. When I was doing treatments they did not bight me...what a deal! I feel for you 💔 😔
Hope you are doing better.
God bless!
