I Have A Question About Insurance Coverage. I Am 68 Years Old And Currently Have A Humana Advantage Plan. I Am Not Yet Taking Any Medication
Which plan is better at paying for prescriptions. When I start taking medication I was told it would be about $15,000 dollars a month for the prescription without insurance. Should I stick with the Humana advantage plan or get back on conventional Medicare with a prescription plan. I have to decide before the end of this year.
You need to find out what Your Advantage Plan will cover. Medicare has covered a lot of my cancer needs over the last 11 years.
The only type of insurance I've had since I retired and had most of my cancers, 5 time cancer survivor is the Advantage Plans, Mostly Humana now Blue Cross. You need to check with the hospital you with, and see what plan they except I liked Humana the best, but a year ago my hospital and Humana parted ways, so now BBC Advantage covers me.tslk to an agent. I've had 39 sessions radiation, 7 months Chemo, 43 sessions HBO, John
