Has Anyone Found Any Relief For Either Neuropathy In Feet (caused By Chemo), Or Chronic Edema?
I have a very good Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctor who uses acupunture and red light therapy. Acpuncture has been very helpful for me and has allowed me to walk again. I also use massage therapy. You do have to pay out of pocket for these nautral healing modalities. Integrative medicine within your health care system may help. Integrative medicine would cover some of these expenses but I have found that getting the best alternative health care is tricky. There are a lot of people ready to take your money and offer no real relief. Only through trail and error have I found the best TCM doctor and massage therapist.
Hi there and Merry Christmas! I have h as d an ongoing problem with both neuropathy in my hands and feet as well as chronic edema in my ankles and legs. I have found that compression stockings really helps my edema. I wear them every day. They are prescription and has made a world of difference.
As far as the neuropathy is concerned, I have found that bathing in warm water with Epsom salts is very helpful for this as it is relaxing (I usually use lavender infused Epsom salts) and helps to also pull water out of my lower extremities. Doing this right before bed is just wonderful!
These are just a couple of things that help me. I wish the very best for the both of you!
and Merry Christmas to you as well Shelly!🌲
Thank you!
