Scalp Care Once You Lose Your Hair Due To Chemo
What did you use to care for your scalp when you lost your hair?
@A MyLymphomaTeam Member hey! My hair grew back all at the same rate but I’ve heard people shave it if it doesn’t grow back evenly, so that it eventually does. I took biotin and was always using a serum on my head - Rosemary/coconut oil/jojoba oil ! It’s still short I’ve only got a few inches so can’t really tell if it’s thicker but grew back kinda curly as well!
If I can jump in on the hair response. My hair has been growing back in for a couple of months. It is slightly curly, white and very thin. I am not sure how to treat this growing process and looking for help from someone who has had their hair grow back. Should I keep the sides short until the top grows enough to look ok without something covering my head. Did yours get thicker over time? Any information would be helpful. I have finished the R-CHOP and waiting for a PET scan.
I’m definitely not gonna go with the pin curls that’s for sure so I’ve just been keeping it at the length right before it does the pin curl whiz. I am embracing what I have.Lol
I have been told by a few oncologists and patients yes. But I don’t know for sure.
@A MyLymphomaTeam Member oh wow!! Mine came back my natural colour, I’m hoping it comes in wavy!! I wouldn’t mind that change haha but pin tight curls is intense, especially if you don’t want them. It might change in a few months??
