Has Anyone Had An Allo Stem Cell Transplant?
My husband who has ( but yet the specialists are still not sure that his diagnosis is accurate) aggressive B cell non Hodgkin stage 4 is most likely going to have this Allo Stem cell transplant. He has a second opinion this coming Monday at UCLA who is a forerunner in transplants. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there has gone through this and can offer your insight. Our 38 year old son if a match will be his donor.
I had aggressive non-hosking B cell lymphoma stage 4, I finished chemotherapy, everything went well, at the end of March I have a stem cell transplant.
How did your transplant go, I hope well and you are thriving and feeling good. I haven’t been on this site much as my husband’s 2 nd opinion felt that an Allo stem cell transplant would not be appropriate at this time, unless he falls out of remission. He has been in remission since his last chemotherapies July 2023. But recently the night sweats have started again although not every night or consistently. He’s going to have a CT scan to tell us more. His LDH has gone up but only 1 point over the average. Hoping for the best as he looks and feels good. Hoping for the best for you as well.
