Has Anyone Else Had 4 Treatments Of Bendamustine/Rituxan For MCL Instead Of 6?
I get the sense that the most progressive thinking around cancer treatment tries to minimize chemo in favor of "quality of life." My Doctor at UVM is young and, I believe) very bright. And ambitious. My oncologist, who is very young and smart, is also not rushing to have me start treatment. I was diagnosed with Mantle Cell in November 2022 and I've been on W&W for almost a year. The blood tests and scans show it is progressing, but slowly. Since I am only having mild symptoms she has me continuing on W&W. I trust my oncologist and I am taking it 3-months at a time. I have finally reached the point where I am not worrying about it all the time.

Hi Roger,
How are you feeling on zanubrutinib? I have been on it for a month. I feel good! I have had a few headaches but could be unrelated!
Hope you are well!

Sounds like you have good medical care providing you advice.
I was diagnosed with MCL in May 2023 and needed to start chemo right away. MCL takes several forms and seems like you may have a slow indolent form. While the uncertainty of W&W probably drags on you, it is most likely a positive in an overall negative disease
