Has Anyone Had The "R Squared" Treatment For Follicular Lympoma? What Was Your Experience?
I did. Chemo is no joke!! You really need a great support system. I was treated at the hospital I worked at, so I was comfortable with their skills. Which was huge for me in reducing the anxiety surrounding treatments. If you need specifics let me know. I can share what I did to make it more manageable
By the third round of chemo I noticed a pattern in my symptoms. For me I knew that if I had nausea the headache would come with it. So I took the antiemetic every 4 hours faithfully. Keeping up with the medication on a strict time line helped a lot. It also got me more mobile so I was not in so much discomfort. Talk to your Doc about managing pain, no harm in pain meds when you need them. Watch and be mindful about patterns that your body is telling you.
Thank you so much
I’ve finished 2 months of R2 and had no side effects except insomnia. Getting PET scan next week to see if it reduced my abdominal
masses. If not I move to 3rd line therapy.
Yes. Please share what made it more manageable. I’m suffering wit severe reaction to chemo. Severe physical pain and explosive headaches Tylenol no help. Thanks so much
