Mine was so slow coming back. Worse it was not my hair. It was alien hair. Texture, color was so disappointing. It was even curly in spots causing it to twig out. It did not grow evenly. I heard many people say you need 12 haircuts to get back to the beginning. I decided I would never again take anything serious but my health. I had worn great chemo caps with earrings to add some class. Wigs were not my thing as they were not me. I keep it very short to tame it. I did add color as it was void of color. I wear ear rings, light make up. This is who I am now. I was more than my cancer. I am more than my hair. I am busy journaling, taking a class, walking, enjoying being able to be out and about.

Mine came back in like a crew cut but it took a couple months.Most of my eyebrows came out too but I am blessed with thick hair once again-----Norma

Hi! I too had RCHOP chemo for DLBCL. I lost my beautiful long blonde thick hair. But it came back in about 4 to 5 mos long enough where I went without a hat. It was super short but I just put on hoop earrings and went out!! My hair after almost 3 yrs is below my shoulders. But it came in only about half the thickness. But I'm so blessed because RCHOP and prayers saved my life. How exciting that you and your husband are going on a vacation to celebrate. Kelly
