(Tecartus)
After 14 yrs of Non Hodgkin lymphoma treatment the Cancer has returned in CSF.
All other chemo regimes have been tried. Also balancing cardiac, kidney, ortho, hearing and vision challenges as result of years of disease and chemo.
Quality of life is currently severely compromised
I am 79 and just had stem cells harvested for car-t treatment. Process was painless and without any problems. I did have to have a catheter in groin due to bad veins but even that was painless and all I felt was pressure when doctor was inserting catheter. I am due to go back to hospital towards the end of September for chemo and to have car-t cells returned to my body. I can’t speak to that part of treatment since I am not there yet but am encouraged by the positive experience so far.
I had DLBCL and went through the same. Here I’m after 3+
