Feeling Nauseous

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Prince George, VA

Hello all
I will see oncologist on the 16th for biopsy results. He did say I have lymphoma by my symptoms. I am nauseous, I do have Zolfran
helps a little. I have not started any treatments yet. Just wondering if this and no appetite are “normal”
Hoping today is a better day for all

Patricia8,
Hi! I wonder if some of your nausea is anxiety. I know I get nauseated when I am nervous. I didn't have an appetite when I was ill. I've been in regards for two yrs now and I still don't get hungry like I used to before lymphoma. But I eat of course to keep up my strength etc. I hope you feel better soon and I hope your appointment goes well on the 16th. Kelly

My husband had gastric lymphoma, had nausea, wt loss and vomiting. They have chemo drugs now that are effective against lymphoma. Take each day one at a time.

Patricia8, I agree with KellyS. I was feeling nauseous to the point where I had to pull my car over to get sick. When this happened to me, I also felt sweaty and my heart was racing. My PCP prescribed Lexapro daily and Xanax as needed, and it hasn't happened since. I've also lost weight, but I think my loss of appetite may just be from all the worrying I've been doing! Healing prayers headed your way!! ❤️🙏❤️
