Does Fatigue Last Through All 6 Infusion Appointments For Large B Cell Lymphoma Using Mini R-CHOP Or Does It Improve Between The Cycles?
I’m still tired, and it’s been over 4yrs since my treatment. I have NHL, I had 6m of chemo , and 2yrs of maintenance. Going into 7yrs now.I haven’t had a relapse .But I’m still tired, I don’t have a nape in the afternoon but I’m in bed around 9-9:30.
I sleep pretty good. I hope all goes good for you. 🤗🤗
Thankfully my oncologist was very upfront and informative about possible side effects, including fatigue. I managed to work most of the time during my treatments, but some days I'd work 5-6 hours instead of 8 and go to bed right after supper; others I'd be mostly OK; once in a while I had to stay in bed all day. FYI: I feel like my fatigue was cumulative, and worst after my last treatment. I've been in remission since March 2024, and still have occasional bouts of fatigue. I wish you well during your treatment journey!
Thanks. I’ve never experienced fatigue like I’m feeling now. Way off the charts! No prior warning from my oncologist. 😩
The effect of chemo is cumulative. I would feel fatigued after a few days of infusions. Once complete I did have fatigue for a few months, but it does get better
Thanks for replying Kelly. Very much appreciated. 12 years ago I had surgery and was treated with immunotherapy for renal cell, stage 4, cancer. I had 2 years of this, but never any chemotherapy. Had no side effects at all during this period and was cured. Now, the NHL has hit me and I am so disappointed at the fatigue factor which to me is beyond exhaustion. Only 1 miniRCHPO down with 5 more to go. No choice but to live with it as I’ve researched everywhere to seek a better answer. Thanks again for your reply. Best wishes..Bruce.

I Was Just Diagnosed With DLBCL, Based On Positive In Removed Tonsil. PET Scan And Bone Marrow Are Clean. Is RCHOP Necessary?
