During chemo I was given Ondansetron OTD... About as useful as a back-rub. I asked for Marinol. The more modern of form of this cannabinoid is called Syndros. I was told it is approved only for AIDS related disease and anorexia. I was personally surprised as everyone should know by now that the one noteworthy reputation cannabis and related drugs are known for is it's use during chemotherapy. Hi Shelly261, I remember being given Zofran. It was ok but I think lorazepam worked best as I recall.

I am a 63 year old woman. I have a marginal b-cell lymphoma and have had 3 out of 6 chemo treatments.My kidneys were under attack so I had to suddenly get on chemo. They are doing much better now. Did anyone who received R-CHOP or CAR-T, developed adrenal insufficiency (adrenal glands provide Cortisol stress hormone daily)? Typically they like me have to take hydrocortisone and fludrocortisone daily for rest of our life.
