Mesenteric Lymphoma

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Australia

Hi all

I am new to this site and I am seeking as much or as little information as you can provide
I’ll begin by briefly explaining why I have joined this site.
In 2015 a CT scan showed a small abnormality in the mesentery. I was advised the abnormality was diagnosed as ‘indolent lymphoma’ and I was advised it could/would develop eventually. I was placed on a ‘wait and see’ program with yearly PET/CT scans and blood tests. Everything has been perfect until June 2023, eight years later.

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Iowa City, IA

I guess my question is about his blood. He has had 1 and 1/2 chemo treatments and he is going in for blood tests M, W, F to check his red and white cell counts and get transfusions if needed. So far he needs 2 pints of blood every other day.
I’m just so worried and overwhelmed- is this normal?
His cancer is in lymph nodes in chest, spleen and liver are 3 times regular size and pet scan showed a few spots on his bones.

Has Anyone Had An Allo Stem Cell Transplant?

A MyLymphomaTeam Member asked a question 💭
Calabasas, CA

My husband who has ( but yet the specialists are still not sure that his diagnosis is accurate) aggressive B cell non Hodgkin stage 4 is most likely going to have this Allo Stem cell transplant. He has a second opinion this coming Monday at UCLA who is a forerunner in transplants. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there has gone through this and can offer your insight. Our 38 year old son if a match will be his donor.

A MyLymphomaTeam Member
