How Did You Find Out You Had Lymphoma? What Were Your Symptoms?
I went for my yearly oncology appointment for breast cancer I had 21 years ago when my oncologist felt a lump where I had reconstruction surgery. I thought it was scar tissue and she had me do an ultrasound followed by a biopsy where lymphoma was discovered in my axillary lymph node and not the lump she initially felt.
I was going to the ear doctor and he found what I thought was a lipoma on my clavicle but he said lymphoma. I went for a pin biopsy and then a core biopsy to confirm FL.
Wondering If After Treatment Anyone Has Traveled And Done Hikes Where You Are At A High Altitude (ex. Peru) Was It Possible? Howd You Feel?
Looking to travel after I complete 4 months of ABVD treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma, with the OK. from the Dr. (I am about halfway through my treatments currently) I'd love to go to Peru when I am finished but very concerned about how the altitude will impact me. I live in Colorado, Im 13 months past chemo in CR mode. I have done the Manitou Incline several x. I had no altitude problems.

I’ve got DLBCL and am almost through my 6 rounds of R-CHOP. I lost all my hair after the first round. My husband and I want to celebrate me finishing chemo with a nice vacation, but I’d like to wait until I have at least a little hair; like maybe just a crew cut.

Wife Just Diagnosed With Follicular NHL. She Has A Very Swollen Lymph Node In Her Groin. Mayo Clinic Diagnosed Her Condition After Biopsy.
I think her treatment regime will be 12 to 17 days of out patient focused radiation to the groin lymph node and possibly chemo imunno treatment
